Business Continuity Update
Transmon Engineering Ltd’s continuity position is currently one of business as usual however in light of the coronavirus statement made by Prime Minister Boris Johnson last night, Transmon Engineering has made the decision further enhance the health and safety of our employees and customers. What this means for you our valued customers is that Parts, Service, Tech Support, Business Support, Development and Sales will continue as usual. We have had to reduce the work force to accommodate the new guidelines. Where possible some of our staff are now working entirely from home.
All new installations will be placed on hold to ensure the health and safety of our field engineers. There are always exceptions and where it is deemed essential to keep business’ running in support of the United Kingdom during the current coronavirus pandemic new installations will be accommodated.
All customer and visitor face to face meetings will be converted to phone/conference/video meetings except where deemed essential. Currently no non-essential visitors are allowed on the premises. Should a face to face be deemed essential, coronavirus protocol will be maintained.
At this time our manufacturing capacity is unaffected but some of our products will have slightly longer lead times. A couple of our key suppliers that are based here in the UK have had to close and some of our supplies may be affected should their closure be prolonged.
Given the evolving nature of this situation we at Transmon Engineering are evaluating this on a daily basis. We will do everything possible to ensure business continuity for Transmon Engineering and our customers as well as adhere to the very latest government advice.
