Designed for all types of forklift trucks, the Transmon Engineering Pin Code Keypad Access (KPA) is a keypad access interface unit that will only activate the ignition once a valid operator code is entered.

How Our Ignition Code Keypad Works

The TE Pin Code Keypad combines robust construction with straightforward operation. The system is designed to completely replace or bypass the truck key switch, or work in conjunction with the key switch on electric trucks.

• Internal Combustion Trucks: A valid operator code is entered on the keypad and the interface unit activates the ignition system. Pressing ‘P’ operates the starter and pressing ‘P’ again stops the engine.
• Electric Trucks: The keypad can replace the key switch entirely or work in conjunction with it. When working with the key switch, operators turn it on before entering their code. When replacing the key switch, the push-stop safety switch provides the power-down function.
