Wireless Carriage Mounted Camera

Our Wireless Carriage Mounted Camera gives the driver true ‘fork-eye’ vision of the front of the forklift truck. This unique perspective helps drivers by assisting with the loading and unloading of pallets. This forklift camera system also helps to ensure the correct fork position when working with high-level racking and off-loading from vehicles.

The Carriage Mounted Camera is attached magnetically to the forklift truck. This allows for easy installation as well as re-positioning as and when required. This magnetic application also helps to minimise damage if there is an accident. The fork camera sends live feed pictures to a 7-inch colour screen monitor, which is mounted unobtrusively inside the forklift cab. The screen is also multi-channel, which allows for the possibility of installing multiple cameras.

Forward/Reverse Facing & Driver Aid Cameras

Forward and reverse facing cameras help drivers manoeuvre forklifts and plant machinery in busy yards and warehouse facilities. They provide a clear and immediate view of the area either in front or directly behind the forklift as it carries out its day-to-day operations.

Driver Aid Cameras are especially recommended for large forklift trucks where driver visibility is often restricted. We can install our cameras easily to be neatly fitted to any vehicle. We have both wired and wireless versions available which can accommodate up to four cameras. Footage can be recorded with optional DVR and uses a large, full-colour screen, which is easy for the driver to use.

Key benefits of both the forward/reverse and driver aid cameras include increased site safety and reduced impact related damage. They also minimise cost relating to any damage and will improve efficiency when working at height in the warehouse or depot.

Pedestrian Alert Cameras

Working with our customers, we understand that pedestrian safety is of paramount importance. Regardless of where you operate a warehouse, depot or yard environment, it’s vital to keep workers safe and operations efficient. By installing a Pedestrian Detection Camera, we offer enhanced safety to both forklift drivers and pedestrians across the facility.

We have a range of cameras that can be easily fitted to a forklift truck or larger materials handling equipment. All our cameras provide robust viewing options for the driver to ensure pedestrians are seen well in advance and collisions can be avoided.

Connecting a pedestrian detection camera to our iTEch speed controller can automatically reduce speed when a pedestrian is detected, and resume speed when clear.

Wireless Camera Recording System

Our wireless camera recording system, Witness Dashcam, is a compact and discreet solution for forklift trucks. The two-channel system records high-definition video and audio from two cameras, providing full front and rear coverage of the forklift truck. With continuous or event-triggered recording, the system allows you to capture exactly what happened before, during and after an incident. Recording can be triggered by an impact sensor, access keypad or speed sensor, depending on your operational needs. Event footage can be stored for up to three weeks. Alternatively, the operator can manually trigger recording via a dedicated panic button.

Management can use the recorded footage to enhance operator accountability, monitor equipment usage, verify checklist completion, assess the force of impacts during accidents, and analyse accidents or near-miss events for training purposes. Time-stamped video footage makes drivers accountable for shift start times, break times, lunch times and end-of-day finish times. Video accountability significantly improves handling productivity, whilst reducing both accidents and damage to product and equipment.
